Session Overview
The Arlington Heights Senior Center is owned and operated by the Village of Arlington Heights. 7 other agencies offer programs and services to provide folks aged 50+ a place to live and age well in community. Our problem is the community has incorrect ideas about what a senior center is and does for people. They think it is a nursing home, or that bingo is played all day. In fact, we are active, vibrant, learners that create and grow. A rebranding of the center is what we are seeking through renaming or a marketing campaign to inform the community of what is we do. There is a lot of moving parts to tell our story and partners that make up what we do. Our website is through the Village https://vah.com/residents/senior_center/index.php
