Session Overview
Our California non-profit status was approved in September of 2021, and the Federal 501(c)3 was approved in October, 2021. We are a theatre company but do not currently have our own space or offices. We are operating out of our living rooms.
I'm trying to set up my Quickbooks and have a small amount of familiarity, but could really use help walking me through certain aspects.
I want to set up to receive donations, Grants, in-kind donations of Goods (which can reflect assets and generate donation letters) and services. I would also like to be able to set-up season budgets and production budgets/payroll for individual shows. I also need to set-up I have Quickbooks Premier Desktop Non-profit edition but I'm hesitant to set things up without a full plan in place. WE will sometimes be doing co-productions with venues or other organizations, so want to make sure we will have that capability.
I'd love a consultation or someone to talk me through the set-up and then help me set it up. Perhaps to be available periodically for questions when I get stuck. We open our first production in October, but have already started spending money on it already. Thank you, Peter
