Project Overview
Support our nascent nonprofit organization by creating categories in QuickBooks that are synched with a proforma spreadsheet. These updates will help guide financial decision-making in our fast-growing organization.
CCLD provides end-of-life care for individuals at no cost to individuals and their families in a home environment. We can do this with the support of volunteers who provide direct care, and we have a small executive team of 4 people with no administrative support at this time. This project will help our bookkeeper inform our newly formed finance committee so that we can make strategic decisions about financial goals, new hires, prioritization of projects that need to be completed, etc. We have a growing base of volunteers (290) and significant interest and support in this work from our surrounding community and beyond.
We have an accounting firm reviewing our 2023 books, which will be completed and reconciled by the end of April. We have a bookkeeper who will reconcile our 2024 books when that is complete. And we have a finance team looking at our current projects and making recommendations for priorities. We have established a proforma spreadsheet with categories mostly complete. We need help finalizing and guiding the next steps as we continue to evolve.
