We are looking for a volunteer who can help our organization develop a tool or design that will capture the standard operating procedure(s) for new program​s. Incorporating this operational tool during program launch will assist us in streamlining and efficiency. Activities in this pro bono project will include:
-Discovery/Assessment ​(interviews with staff members (3)
-Audit of materials provided from staff interviews
-Proposal of a flow design and a round of feedback/updates with our ED and Operations Director
-Writing and designing of the Standard Operating Procedure (SOP)​ based on the approved flow design
-Presentation of SOP to the full team, with discussion, inquiry and feedback for final draft
-SOP finalizedThis opportunity will help us streamline our operations and support our staff with efficiency in communications in response to post-COVID impact growth needs. Ultimately this will allow us to reach up to 1000 additional underserved youth artists and professional artists with arts opportunities.

Changing World's’ mission is to foster inclusive communities through oral history, writing and art programs that improve student learning, affirm identity, and enhance cross-cultural understanding.
Our unique programming approach integrates cultural, family and community histories with writing and the arts to help participants explore their own backgrounds, promote peace, and learn about others while strengthening their academic and arts learning skills. We work toward our mission through separate yet interconnected program areas that include:
-In-School and After-School Partnerships
-Teacher Professional Development workshops, seminars and institutes
-Community Outreach Initiatives such as traveling exhibits, short-term programs, collaborative partnerships and special events.
To prepare for this project, we have outlined who we believe our current core audiences (Ideally our audience will be internal program staff team). You will have a dedicated team member to work with on this project (Executive Director). We plan to implement the results of this project by operationalizing the tool with our program team immediately to streamline pursuit and implementation for program growth in school year 2023-2024.
